Community Advisory Council Recruiting Members – Parents, Students, Staff, and Community Partners All Welcome!
Have a voice. Play a role. Participate in City High School’s democratic governance by joining the Community Advisory Council.
The Community Advisory Council’s main purpose is to advise school and board leadership on issues pertaining to the City High School’s mission and goals. The group reviews school-wide data, provides feedback on academic programs, and each year takes on a particular focus for school improvement. This year’s focus: Health & Wellness.
The Community Advisory Council is designed to include all stakeholders in our school and the bylaws require student, parent, staff, board, and community representation. Please consider joining if you are interested in this kind of involvement at City High School. The time commitment is a monthly 90-minute meeting.
Contact person: Carrie Brennan. For the 2012-2013 school year, the CAC will meet on the fourth Wednesday 5:00-6:30 p.m. (No meetings in December or March.) Light dinner served.
