Farm Kickoff Event! Saturday Afternoon, January 21

Come celebrate the official opening of Las Milpitas de Cottonwood Community Farm with us next Saturday, January 21 from 1-4 p.m.

The newly-named Las Milpitas is a wonderful expansion of the City High Garden, thanks to the involvement of the Community Food Bank. We established a partnership with the Food Bank in 2011 to expand the City High Garden into a full-fledged small scale urban farm, open to the whole community – and it’s happening! Come check out the progress and celebrate this new resource for the Tucson community.

The Las Milpitas de Cottonwood Community Farm lies between South Cottonwood Lane and the Santa Cruz River, south of 29th/Silverlake.
