CityServes Dinner at Jacome Plaza

On Wednesday, November 22, CityServes celebrated the true spirit of Thanksgiving by providing a dinner to the homeless at Jacome Plaza in downtown Tucson. The event was coordinated and organized by City High School senior, Oliver Dewey, and was made possible by many student volunteers who stepped up to the plate. Local restaurants donated enough food to feed the over 50 people that showed up, and the students happily treated them to a beautiful meal, engaged company, and a place to be seen.

CityServes is a new, student-led service club at City High School; its aim is to find ways to channel the energy of young people, their optimism and generosity of spirit to improve and enrich the community.
