Last Chance To Sign Up For Gateways!

Parents: If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for your child’s Gateway as soon as possible.

At the end of every school year, City High School students create a gateway presentation to demonstrate their academic progress and personal development as it pertains to the school’s mission and our Habits of Heart and Mind. Each grade level has a different critical question that guides their performance and a successful gateway is required to move on to the next grade level.

The seniors recently completed their Gateways and now it is the time for the rest of the students to demonstrate what they know and can do. The ninth graders will zoom in on the Habits of Heart and Mind,  the tenth graders have to include a demonstration/lesson for their audience, and the eleventh graders will explore the concept of what it means to be a “lifelong learner.”

To schedule your child’s gateway, please visit the following link and sign up for a time slot under the name of your child’s advisor.

Parents are expected to attend their child’s gateway and extended family members and supportive community members are welcome. These formal exhibitions provide excellent opportunities to reflect on the past school year and celebrate successes.

We hope to see you there!
