Sophomores Gear Up for Multi-Day Field Trip

The 10th grade class travels to Los Angeles next week for their big multi-day academic field trip of the year. The trip connects most closely with the American Studies course that all sophomores take, with a specific focus on 20th-century American history and culture. Students will visit the Japanese American National Museum, the Museum of Tolerance, and the Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument.

The trip will involve some beach time too! The group will camp at Leo Carillo State Park in Malibu and and get to enjoy the Pacific Ocean. Accompanying the students will be teachers Dillon Martino, Jessica Melrose, Jessica Janacek, Angela Marquez, and Sean Williams.

Reminders for 10th grade students and families:

  • Students need to report to school at 7:00am on Monday, March 13.
