Freshmen & Junior Trips Next Week!

Freshmen & Junior trips are happening next week!

Overnight field trips are an important part of the place-based curriculum at City High School. These extended trips provide students with a unique opportunity to observe and interact with the varied resources of our community. These trips would not happen without the support of donors. To pay your student’s travel and activity fee, please visit the link HERE. Thanks for your support!

  • The annual College Road Trip for 11th grade will depart from City High School on Tuesday morning, 10/2 @ 7:45 am and return to the school around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 10/5. Juniors will have the unique opportunity to visit beautiful northern Arizona and tour 3 different colleges.  ASU, Prescott College, and NAU are all very different and offer an amazing assortment of majors, extracurricular activities, and climate. This trip is designed to increase understanding of the college experience. Students who have participated in past trips have returned very excited about the next adventure in their lives. Juniors and staff chaperones will be camping at the Mather Group Campground at the Grand Canyon. One of the days of the trip is dedicated to exploring this amazing natural resource and learning about the geology and ecology of the Canyon. Contact KC Engelmann, the trip leader, for more details or questions.
