VOICES After School Programs Launching 

Las Milpitas

City High School’s extended-day program, VOICES, is launching it’s 9th year beginning next week, offering free before and after school academic and enrichment opportunities to all students.

The Fall Schedule will be released on August 17th, with some programs beginning the following week and others after the Labor Day holiday. Interested students need only attend the first meeting to join and can earn off-campus lunch privilege after 30 days of participation.

VOICES programs starting soon:
  • 8/14 – Morning Office Hours: TuesdayFriday 8:30-8:55 in core subject teacher classrooms
  • 8/20 – Morning Workout: MondayFriday 7:30-8:45am at the YMCA.
  • 8/20 – Basketball Practice: Monday & Tuesday 3:30-5:30pmThursday 4:15-5pm, at the YMCA.
  • 8/21 – Academic Tutoring: Tuesday & Friday 3-4:30pmWednesday 1-2pm, in Room 204
  • 8/24 – Film Club, in collaboration with The Loft Cinema: Fridays 3:30-4:30 in Room 215
  • 9/4 – Makerspace Open Shop: Tuesday & Friday 3:15-4:15 in the Makerspace in 37 Pennington.
