Chad Blair received his B.A. in Secondary English Education with a minor in Rhetoric from The University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.  He earned an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Montana.

Chad taught in Ankara, Turkey; Chicago, Illinois; and Missoula, Montana before joining the amazing staff at City High School in 2007.  He has taught elementary students, middle school students, high school students, university students, and adults recovering from mental illness.  Chad is a published poet and critic.  He enjoys writing, hiking, cooking, watching classic movies at the Loft, and playing football in the park.  He is inspired and energized by the incredibly intelligent, creative, compassionate, and witty students at City High.

Chad is highly qualified by federal standards and the State of Arizona in the area of Language Arts/English.
