Sarah Miller graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Mathematics. She joined City High School in August 2011.

Sarah brings three years of experience to City High School, having taught middle school math in the Vail School District from 2008-2011.  She is excited to make the move up to high school, and to experience a totally new environment at our downtown charter school.  Sarah states, “I thoroughly enjoy mathematics – learning, doing and teaching, and my goal as a teacher is to help my students see the beauty and power of math, and my hope is that they would leave my room liking math (even a little) more than when they entered.”

Sarah moved to Tucson right after finishing high school.  Her dad was in the Air Force, and she lived all over the world, including Korea and Japan. She loves to travel and hopes to make it back to Japan some day.  She also enjoys reading, wine tasting, and snowboarding.

Sarah is a certified secondary teacher in mathematics. She is highly qualified by federal standards and the State of Arizona in the area of mathematics.
