Pennington Street Block Party
Celebrate youth! Celebrate community! Join us for the 5th annual Pennington Street Block Party on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
The Block Party is a family-friendly event in the heart of Downtown Tucson celebrating what young people do to make our community a better place. It’s fun for all ages: Enjoy musical performances, teaching demos, interactive booths, one-act plays, art exhibits, carnival games, and more!
All outdoor stages, booths, and activities are on Pennington Street between Stone Ave. and Scott Ave. Indoor venues are on the ground floor of City High School, 48 East Pennington Street.
The Block Party started in 2009 as a community event to showcase youth creativity, learning, and service, as part of Global Youth Service Day.
GET INVOLVED! Creating a true community event takes the whole community – performers, food vendors, community booths, and volunteers.
