Block Party Press Release (dated April 2, 2014)

The Block Party started in 2009 as a community event to showcase youth creativity, learning, and service, as part of Global Youth Service Day.

Last year the Block Party hosted the ceremony for the Ray Davies Student Service Award sponsored by the City of Tucson’s Human Relations Commission, the Jewish Community Relations Council, and the Tucson Service Learning Group. We welcome Mayor Jonathan Rothschild who will join us to open the event and present the youth awards.
