HAPPENING NOW! Gateway Exhibition Week Students in grades 9, 11, and 12 will be participating in Gateway Exhibitions during the final days of the school year. For 9th and 11th graders, this is part of the process of graduating from their current division and moving to the next division (Division 1 to 2 or Division 2 to 3). For 12th graders, the exhibition is one of the steps to graduate from City High School. Participation is required of all students. Graduation Saturday, May 31, 6:00 p.m The 2nd annual City High School graduation ceremony will take place in the La Placita plaza. There will be a reception to follow (approximately 7-8 pm). City High Students Publish Radio Stories Public Radio Exchange, Spring 2008 As part of their City Works class this year, a group of 10th and 11th grade students produced radio stories and documentaries. Two City High School City Works classes were involved in the early creative process of creating the dance. Students and teachers in the Culinary Arts and Community Garden classes participated in workshops with the dancers and generated ideas and movements that the dancers wove into the final performance. City High School recently received a "MLK Day of Service" grant to focus on service projectsrelated to King's teachings of nonviolence throughout 2008; participation in the Tucson walk was our kick-off activity.
