Tucson Small School Project (TSSP) provides outreach experiences and expertise on a range of best-practice topics, including Critical Friends Groups, Advisory Programs, Student-Led Conferences, Student Portfolios, Gateway & Graduation Exhibitions, Place-Based Learning & Service Learning, Rubric Design, and Habits of Heart & Mind.

Upcoming TSSP events open to Arizona educators:

TSSP outreach educators have facilitated workshops for schools, districts, and other educational organizations in Arizona, including Window Rock School District, Tucson Unified School District, Amphitheater School District, Catalina Foothills School District, St. Gregory College Preparatory School, Phoenix Country Day School, the Pima County Regional Support Center, Voices for Education, and the Arizona K12 Center. To learn more about TSSP Outreach, contact TSSP Outreach Director Brett Goble.

In 2004, Tucson Small School Project founded City High School, a small charter high school located in downtown Tucson and a member of the Coalition of Essential School’s national network. City High School, now in its eighth year, is where TSSP outreach educators work as classroom teachers and school leaders practicing the various methods that they share with other schools.
