VOICES After School Programs Launching 

City High School’s extended-day program, VOICES, is launching it’s 10th year, offering free before and after school academic and enrichment opportunities to all students.

The Fall Schedule has been released, with some programs already beginning and others after the Labor Day holiday. Interested students need only to show up to join and can earn off-campus lunch privilege after 30 days of participation.

VOICES programs already in full swing or starting this week:
  • 8/13 – Morning Office Hours: TuesdayFriday 8:30-9am in core subject teacher classrooms
  • 8/13 – Academic Tutoring: Tuesday & Friday 3-4:30pmWednesday 1-2pm, in Room 201
  • 8/19 – Morning Workout: MondayFriday 7:30-8:45am at the YMCA.
  • 8/19 – Basketball Practice: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 3:30-5:30pm at the YMCA.
  • 8/20 – Classical Guitar: Tuesday 3:00-4:00pm (class enrollment only)
  • 8/20 – Radio DJ Crew: Tuesday 3:00-4:00pm
  • 8/22 – Family Nights: Thursday 5:30-7:00pm
  • 8/28 – Honors Candidacy: Wednesdays (monthly) 1:15-2:30pm
  • 8/30 – Podcast Discussion: Friday 3:15-4:15 in Room 217
