JTED Night: Thursday, February 18

Stacey Hackett, School Counselor from Pima County’s Joint Technical Education District (JTED) will be presenting on JTED programs on Thursday, February 18 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.. This will be an online, virtual presentation. Please fill out this form to register and receive the Zoom link.

JTED offers a long list of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, many of which lead to licenses or certificates that can lead directly to employment. Come learn about the variety of programs available. Some examples: cosmetology, construction, and medical assistant, just to name a few. Don’t miss out!

JTED pre-registration opened in January. Students who are interested in a JTED program for the 2021-22 school year should pre-register. Enrollment is done on a first-come-first served basis. The student is not committing to enrolling in JTED by pre-registering; they can change their minds at any time after.
Most JTED programs are two years, and are designed to be taken in the 11th grade and 12th grade years. Some programs are three years and start in the student’s 10th grade year. There are a few JTED programs that are one year and can be started in 12th grade. Please contact Brett Goble brettg@cityccl.org if you have any questions about JTED as a possibility for you or your student in the 2021-22 school year.
