For his undergraduate degree, Steve Beall went to Indiana University where he studied biology with a focus on zoology.  A multicultural education project brought him to Arizona, and he spent a semester studying and teaching on the Navajo Reservation.  When he moved to Tucson, he immediately fell in love with the landscape, and the Sonoran Desert fascinates him to this day.  After teaching for several years, he earned his masters of science in biology from the University of Arizona.  He is highly qualified in the areas of general science, biology, and chemistry, and he has a secondary general science teaching certificate in the state of Arizona.   In his free time, you can find him hanging out with friends, traipsing around the desert or forest, riding a bike, or paddling a kayak.
