1. ***Oberlin College Multicultural Visit Program***
Deadlines: September 16 and October 21, 2019
We encourage applications from students from diverse backgrounds such as
black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian,
Hispanic/Latino/a/x, or Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. To support
socioeconomic diversity, the selection committee also will consider students
from families with limited financial resources, regardless of cultural or
racial background, as well as those who are among the first in their families
to attend college (first generation). To be eligible, students must be a US
citizen, permanent resident, or undocumented student living within the US,
and must be currently residing in the US.

This is a selective program that seeks students serious about Oberlin and
their education. High school seniors accepted to the program receive an
all-expenses-paid trip to Oberlin to stay in residence halls, tour the campus,
visit classes, attend admissions and financial aid workshops, and meet current students,
professors, and staff.

2. ***Big Brothers Big Sisters College and Career Fair***

Representatives from these institutions will be in attendance: University of Arizona,
Arizona State University, Pima Community College, Pima Medical Institute,
Carrington College, Brookline College, Army, Navy, Marines, and Job Corps.

5. National Portfolio Day at Mesa Community College September 21, 10am-3pm

This is a great opportunity for students interested in apply to art schools. National Portfolio Day brings students together with experienced college representatives who review artwork, offer critique, discuss college plans, and share information about their programs. These events are not an examination or a competition. More info here 

6. ***Tucson College Night at the Tucson Convention Center***
Tuesday, October 22, 2019, 6:30-8:30pm (Admission and Parking are FREE)
Over 200 college representatives from all over the United States will be present to talk to students and parents, answer questions and hand out materials.
