CITY Photo

MWhite-arizona--288x288CITY Photo is a workshop devoted to the preservation and teaching of film-based darkroom photography. Led by the Tucson Community Darkroom founders Jasper Ludwig and Julia DeConcini, the workshop offers City High School students an opportunity to exercise their creativity on film.

Working with donated film cameras, students learn not only film-based photography and how to print gelatin silver photographs in a wet darkroom, but also a wide variety of alternative photographic processes such as cyanotypes and tin types. Students also craft their own pin-hole cameras.

CITY Photo workshop meets every Friday, from 1 – 4pm.
