CITY Portal 2

CITY Portal 2 is all about the craft of video game design. Combining their artistic creativity, ingenuity, and technical savvy, participants construct their own puzzles using the Portal 2 game engine — an intuitive, physics based tool set. Each student shares their work with their peers in many iterations, always observing what works with their creation and incorporating feedback to improve the users exprience. Opening themselves to criticism and learning from the community, participants become critical thinkers while blurring the lines between work and play.

The CITY Portal 2 workshop is led by Instructor Ben Truman, whohas been with VOICES and the staff of City High for over 5 years. He accepts burrito offerings from the Taco Shop.

CITY Portal 2 meets weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 – 5pm for the 2013-2014 school year.
